Your role and responsibilities The intern will be assigned to a sub-team within our Product Engineering support team of z Hardware or the z/OS support team that supports the service structure and serviceability of our mainframe product set. This position will be to help design and execute productivity aids required for the infrastructure. Some programming skills are required and a basic engineering understanding to perform this role. Computer Science skills are highly desired and preferred however an electrical engineering background would also be beneficial. The intern will have the opportunity to experience firsthand what a mainframe customer expects from IBM as well as the technical complexity of this machine.
